Baby Safety Course
Join us for a hands-on, practical class designed to give parents and caregivers peace of mind when it comes to their baby’s safety. Led by pediatric nurse practitioner Kate Okaro, APRN, CPNP-PC and registered nurse Alison Standish, RN, BSN, this course covers the essentials every family should know.

Car seat safety: an overview of essential car seat safety guidelines, plus resources for certified checks.
Safe sleep: the ABCs of safe sleep, swaddling safety, and sleep environment setup.
Bath time safety: water temperature, setup tips, and how to prevent accidents.
Feeding safety: formula preparation, breastmilk storage, and feeding best practices.
Infant illness: what’s normal, when to call your pediatrician, and red flags to watch for.
Baby-proofing basics: top household hazards and recommended products.
CPR & choking response: step-by-step techniques for emergencies.
